Founded by Dane DeValcourt, a Lafayette-based numismatist and collector-dealer.
Dealing coins since 2020. Swamp Treasure, LLC formed 2023. We catalog, photograph, and ship from Lafayette, Louisiana — one office, one photo lamp, and a working inventory of just over a thousand pieces.
The catalog skews to U.S. type and key dates with a steady stream of world and ancient material moving through. Most of what we list is in third-party slabs from NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG, or CAC. Raw coins are described to the best of our ability. We’d rather over-describe a coin than oversell it.
Authentication
We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell and make every effort to identify, describe, and photograph each item accurately. Certified coins are sold based on the opinion of the third-party grading service listed on the holder. Raw coins are described to the best of our ability using the information available at the time of sale.
Shipping
How we send coins.
We primarily ship via USPS, with UPS or FedEx available when appropriate based on the order, destination, value, or customer preference. Orders are generally shipped by the next business day whenever possible. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and buyers pay actual shipping costs. Insurance is required and included on orders over $300.
Returns
If a coin doesn’t sit right.
We offer a 7-day return window on eligible numismatic items. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. Eligible returns receive a full refund, less any non-refundable shipping costs, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping. Bullion, junk silver, melt-value silver, final-sale marketplace items, and items sold primarily for precious-metal content are not eligible for return unless otherwise required by law or unless there is an authenticity issue.
